2003 Was A Great Year For LIRHA!!! Fall 2003 marked our 25th Anniversary!! Many thanks to the Winslow Family for starting this program in 1978. Many students, volunteers, staff, and horses have gone through our barn doors. Congratulations to our instructor Bunny Steelman. She has been with LIRHA since it began, happy 25 years Bunny! We all love you and hope you stay with us for more happy years to come!

Our major fundraiser for the year was our 28th annual Equestrian Ride-A-Thon and our 4th Walk-A-Thon. It was a success. Special thank you to the Outback Of Westbury who donated delicious food for our event this year 2006 and thanks to the Commack Outback for there donation in 2004 and 2005.

We thank all our supporters for coming to our event-without you we would not be able to run as a cost-free program. 

We also are happy to announce we were re-accredited in the fall of 2005 and continue to be a Premier Accredited Program by NARHA -2006- at  the Christian Fellowship Ranch.
